A day after Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya presided over a meeting and urged states to increase surveillance and remain alert, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convenes a review meeting. In addition, Mandaviya emphasized that the pandemic was “not over yet” and urged individuals to use masks and get vaccinated.
According to officials, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over a high-level review meeting on Thursday regarding the country’s Covid-19 situation. The gathering comes in the midst of an enormous flood in contamination rate in China where a large number of passings have been figured in the impending months.
The meeting will be held at 3.30 p.m. by the prime minister. It comes a day after Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya gave an overview of the Covid-19 situation in India at a meeting that also included VK Paul, a member of NITI Aayog who is also an expert in health.
