Shah Rukh Khan greets guests with Jai Shree Ram ‘for good measure’ at Ambani pre-wedding bash, turns host.
Shah Rukh Khan took on the role of host at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations. On Saturday, Bollywood celebrities arrived at the venue for the sangeet night. Shah Rukh, dressed entirely in black, stepped onto the stage and greeted the audience with ‘Jai Shree Ram’ before proceeding to introduce members of the Ambani family.
In videos shared online, Shah Rukh stepped onto the stage and greeted everyone. He added, “And for very good measure, ‘Jai Shree Ram.’ God bless you all.” SRK then introduced senior members of the Ambani family, who blessed the soon-to-be married couple, Anant and Radhika. He referred to them as the ‘Powerpuff Girls,’ ‘Ambani’s Angels’ and ‘Spice Girls of Jamnagar.’
The Pathaan actor said, “So let me take a moment to introduce to all of you the Powerpuff Girls of the Ambani family, the Trimurti or the rideviya of the family–the Saraswati, the Lakshmi and Parvati. Their prayers and blessings have kept this family together.”
Shah Rukh also took to the stage and gave a performance to his hit songs, including “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” Shah Rukh, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan also united and danced to various iconic numbers.
Bollywood stars arrived in Jamnagar on Friday for Anant and Radhika’s three-day pre-wedding festivities. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, among others, are currently in Jamnagar for the bash.
Pop star Rihanna performed on the first day. The singer performed a medley of her hit songs and she also grooved with the entire Ambani family on stage. Janhvi and Rihanna performed together to the song “Zingaat” and fans called them ‘iconic.’
In a dazzling culmination of dance and entertainment, Manisha Rani has emerged triumphant as the winner of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ season 11. Her stellar performance throughout the season secured her the coveted title, along with a grand prize of Rs 30 lakh. Accompanying her on this journey to victory was her talented choreographer, Ashutosh Pawar, who received a commendable cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. As a testament to their achievement, the duo also earned a luxurious trip to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The exhilarating finale episode, broadcasted on Sony Television on Saturday, March 2, witnessed Manisha Rani’s crowning moment amidst a flurry of excitement and applause. Adding to the grandeur of the finale, the cast of ‘Murder Mubarak’ – Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Verma, and Sanjay Kapoor – graced the stage with their presence, joining the contestants for a mesmerizing performance that captivated audiences nationwide.
